▢ 1 yellow onion
▢ ½ cabbage
▢ 3 Cloves garlic, minced
▢ 1 Tablespoon sun dried tomato paste
▢ 14 ½ Ounces tomatoes , canned fire roasted
▢ 2 Cups chicken stock
▢ ¼ Cup salted butter
▢ 1 Teaspoon sea salt , flakes
▢ ½ Teaspoon black pepper
▢ 1 Teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Instructions
Prepare ingredients. Chop kielbasa into ¼-inch pieces, halve the fingerling potatoes, slice onion about ¼-inch thick, and cut cabbage into 2-inch wedges.
Add kielbasa, potatoes, onions, and cabbage to the slow cooker. Lightly stir, then add all remaining ingredients except the butter. Use a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients, then top with butter.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours, or high for 3 hours.
Notes
Layer well: Keep the cabbage on top so it doesn’t overcook.
Use a wooden spoon: It’s gentle on your slow cooker and helps stir ingredients without breaking them.
Cut evenly: Keep pieces uniform for even cooking.
